Edan SE-1515 12-Lead PC ECG (DX12 / DP12)
PC-based 12-lead ECG with Glasgow interpretation, sent straight to the remote physician.
The Edan SE-1515 pairs a compact acquisition box with Edan's ECG software running on the MedConnect station's tablet or computer. It comes in two versions:
- SE-1515 DX12, wireless: a 113 g Bluetooth transmitter (2 AA batteries, 12+ hours) paired with a USB receiver. The patient isn't tethered to the computer, which suits home visits and tight exam rooms.
- SE-1515 DP12, wired: a 210 g USB acquisition box powered by the computer, with no battery to manage.
How it works with MedConnect
From the consultation screen the nurse starts the ECG in one click: the software opens with the patient already filled in (GDT protocol), the 12-lead tracing is recorded, and the PDF report is attached to the consultation record automatically within seconds. The remote physician reviews it during the video visit.
- Automatic interpretation: Glasgow algorithm built into the report.
- Lead-reversal detection and automatic saving of arrhythmia segments.
- Export formats: PDF, XML, SCP, DICOM, JPG; exchange with HIS / EHR systems over HL7, DICOM or GDT.
- Regulatory: class II electrocardiograph, FDA-cleared under 510(k) K152427; compliant with IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 60601-2-25.
The SE-1515 is part of the basic MedConnect kit configuration offered to US care organizations.
